Kids, it is time for us to take care of one another.  This page is helpful because it allows kids of all ages to be creative in meeting the needs of other children whom are less fortunate.  Look over all the ideas and see how you can help.  Come on, let's change the world!!!

1.  Birthday Donations:  Kids on your birthdays or holidays, ask parents, friends, and grand-parents to give money to donate instead of buying a gift.

2.  Fast:  Give up a meal or junk food for one week and donate the money to a cause.  Get your school involved and go around to other classes and explain where their money will go.  Place a large container in each classroom in which other kids can place their change.

3.  Read, Run, or Walk-a-thon:  Collect pledges from family, friends, community members, and local businesses for each hour or mile kids walk, run, or for each book read.

4.  Talent Show:  Have the faculty and students sell tickets and advertise for a talent show.  Donate the proceeds.

5.  Bake Sale:  Kids and parents or families can gather around the kitchen and make tasty treats and sell them. 

6.  Shooting Hoops:  Gather many friends or if you play on a basketball team- collect pledges from your community and see who is able to shoot 25 balls in the hoop in 25 minutes.
