    One of my dreams was to figure out how I could help other children.  This is how I thought to establish the Kid-too-Kid Foundation, which will help to meet the needs of underserved children on Long Island, nationally and internationally.  One of my goals is to have children learn to help other children in need.  One way I would like to accomplish this outcome is to meet and speak with children in other schools and organizations and have the children come up with creative ideas to support each other, especially those children who need the most assistance.

 

       I want to reach out and touch as many lives as I can and truly begin to meet the needs of those who are most in distress from Long Island and across the nation. "I have to make a difference."

Kid-too-Kid Foundation, Inc., believes that children need the required tools to make a child's learning experience a positive and rewarding one.  When you send children to school at the beginning of the year and mid-year with new school supplies, this relays a message that school is important and it imparts a sense of pride in the process and ultimately, themselves as purposeful learners and achievers.  

 

All over Long Island and the United States, thousands of families cannot provide the essentials and are making heart-wrenching choices to support their families.    

 

KTK wants to make sure that children are receiving constant encouragement and it is up to us as a community to see that children receive these basic school supplies needed during such critical times in their lives.  These supplies will allow the children to attend school properly equipped for successful education and it also helps them avoid feeling as though they are left without the necessities that their peers have.
